They simply have to stop crossing it.<\/p>\n

And if I\u2019m completely honest, Mark wasn\u2019t entirely wrong about who I used to be.<\/p>\n

There was once a version of me who would have seen that moving truck, called him in a panic, listened to his explanation, worried about where he and Vanessa would sleep, and somehow apologized for making their lives difficult.<\/p>\n

He built his entire plan around finding that woman.<\/p>\n

He was just eight months too late.<\/p>\n

I still believe in forgiveness.<\/p>\n

I still believe people can change.<\/p>\n

And I still prefer peace when the peace is worth preserving.<\/p>\n
